Welcome Unity friends! I'm so excited to be a Growing in Unity girl for this week! Here's my card for today. I used the stamp Drew Girl. I colored a bit on the edges with Prismacolor colored pencils and then I used some Gamsol to blend the color out from the edges. I used some washi tape, bling and I inked the edges to finish the card off. Thanks for stopping by & don't forget to leave me a comment. At the end of the week, I'll be picking 2 people to win some Unity!

ReplyDeleteThis is lovely! I'm curios, what is Gamesol? Living in Alaska, I'm limited in supplies...is this something I need to buy? Your blending is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteGamsol is a type of mineral spirits & it just breaks down the colored pencil so you can blend it easier. I think you can get the same effect with baby oil although I haven't tried it. Here's a link to more info about gamsol: https://www.gamblincolors.com/oil-painting/gamsol/
DeleteHere's an article I found about coloring with Vaseline. https://coloronmag.com/article/coloring-201-you-do-what-with-vaseline/
