Happiness Fairy 12/30

I tried a shaker card for today.  It didn't quite go as planned because I stamped first on clear plastic but then you couldn't read the words on the sentiment.  So, I had to carefully peel the top off so sequins & glitter didn't fly everywhere.  Then, I stamped on vellum and reattached it.  I used the sentiment Happy Dust from Unity.  It has a couple choice words in it so those have been blurred out :).  Thanks for stopping by!

You're a Peach 11/30

For this card I used the no-line watercoloring technique again.  I mixed fossilized amber and orange marmalade to get the peachy color.  I used the Unity kit called The Pits for this card.  Thanks for checking it out!

Brave Wings 10/30

For today's card I tried my hand at the no-line watercoloring technique.  The tutorial I used was from Splitcoast Stampers.  I used my distress inks to color the image in.  I just smooshed them on my acrylic block and added water as needed with my brush.  I used the stamp set Scattered Pieces from Unity.  That's all for today's card.  Thanks for stopping by!

Best year Ever! 5/30

The cards for today were modeled after a card that Whitney from Unity did on a live Facebook video on Tuesday.  You can see that video here.  I didn't have any of the Primary Elements powder that Whitney used and someone in the comments suggested to use eyeshadow so I did and it worked great!  I also loaned my embossing gun to my sister so I used my toaster to emboss the paper.  I just held it above the toaster until it melted and it worked great!  Lots of compromising in these cards.  Lol!  The set I used is called Keep it Simple.  Thanks for looking!

Missing You 4/30

My card for today features one of my favorite stamp sets from Unity Stamp Co.  It's by Donna Downey & it's called Insightful Meadows.  These stamps are so big!  They are each about 5 in. tall.  I colored the flowers with some Stampin' Up markers and then I spritzed them with water.  After I stamped them, I was worried I sprayed too much water but the watercolor look grew on me.  The sentiment, hearts & the text background is from I want you to Know  sentiment kit. Thanks for looking!

Everything 3/30

My card for today is inspired by a card posted on the Unity Show & Tell facebook page.  It is a really great page for inspiration!  It's a wonderful group of ladies that enjoy making cards and they understand the addiction, I mean attraction, of Unity Stamps :)

Here is my card:

I colored my camera with my Spectrum Noir markers and I once again used my sparkle pen on the hearts and the flash bulb.  Isn't the camera cute?!?  It's from a Unity Stamp KOM.  I'm not a member but I was lucky enough to get it in a grab bag.  It's also sold separately here.  The sentiment is also from a grab bag.  I'm sorry I don't have the info on the kit it's from.  If I find it, I will definitely edit this post!

Thanks for looking!

Here is my card:

The set used is called Kinda Sorta Miss You from Unity Stamp Co.  I used my Spectrum Noir markers to color the bird and I put a little sparkle on the hearts with my Spectrum Noir pen.  Thanks for looking!

Never lose hope 1/30

I've decided to challenge myself to try and make a card a day for a whole month.  The card I created today is based on a card by Unity Design Team member Shemaine Smith.  Here is her card:

Here is mine:
You can't really see it but I added some sparkle to my petals using my Spectrum Noir sparkle pen.  I used the kit called You Have Made a Difference by Unity Stamp Co.
