Genuine Boy

This is one of the new kits called Genuine Boy from Adriana's Café.  I was so excited to work with this kit because I have two boys and sometimes it's kind of hard to find masculine kits.  I also like that some of the papers & embellishments can be used for girl pages.  Thanks for looking!  Enjoy!

I had so much fun with this kit that I made a second page :)

Here's what they look like side by side.

Thanks for making it to the end of this post!  Now go get your freebie :)  Enjoy!

Zoo Carousel

I discovered Stuff to Scrap one morning when they were having a "Speed Scrap" and I happened to be able to join in.  After that, I was hooked.  I signed up and joined their forum & I've been using a lot of kits from their store & their blog hops in my layouts lately.

This layout was created using Designs by Snowlady's Memories to Treasure kit.  Thanks for looking!

World Cardmaking Day

Happy World Cardmaking Day to you!  I made a couple of cards for a challenge at SOS.  I challenged the girls over there to use a repetition of shapes on their cards.

This first card, I copied from a card I saw on Jennifer McGuire's blog.

I cut the hearts out then sewed them on my card & "fluffed" them up.  Here is a close-up of the hearts:

This second card is based on a card I found here.
