Make It Monday

Today is "Make It" Monday on Carla's blog. She is also one of the sisters from Sisterhood of Scrap. On Monday's she has a blog carnival where she posts a theme for recipes. Then you post a recipe on your blog. Today's theme is cookies and my recipe is "Quick-Mix Chocolate Cookies." Here's the recipe:

1 box chocolate cake mix (the recipe originally called for Devil's Food, but we made it with chocolate first and liked it)
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1/4 c. sugar

Heat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, mix cake mix, oil, vanilla, and eggs until dough forms. Shape dough into 1 in. balls, roll in sugar. On an ungreased baking sheet, place balls about 2 in. apart. Bake 10-12 min or until set. Cool 1 min. Remove from baking sheet to cooling rack, cool 30 min (we like them best warm though).

Enjoy!

I thought I had you on my blog reader, but obvious not, just found you, thanks for your comment, they sound easy and neat! Will have to try, we always buy the boxed cake mixes, and I always add my own stuff to them lol.

This recipe is so easy. Thanks for sharing. We will have to try them soon, and with a glass of milk!
