Make it Monday...

or Tuesday if you're sick & have to call your Mom for the recipe :) So yesterday Carla's theme was snacks and Chex Mix has always been a favorite with us. So after calling my mom to get the recipe, here it is:

Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
1 stick (1/2 c.) melted butter
1 1/4 tsp. seasoned salt
4 1/2 tsp. worchestire sauce
Mix together.
Now for the next part my mom takes a big measuring cup/bowl and layers the following ingredients in the order listed:
1 c. peanuts
1 c. pretzels
8 c. Chex mix (any variety you wish)

Pour the dry ingredients into a pan and stir to mix. The pan should be larger than 9x13 or there won't be enough room to mix. Cook at 15 min. intervals (stop every 15 min. to mix) for 1 hour. Enjoy!

I have never tried this recipe! Too nervous that it wouldn't be any good --- BUT, since it's "tried and true" I shall give it a try :-)
Thanks for posting!

Looks like you got all the ingredients correct and just in time for Super Bowl celebrations!
